He is a Consultant psychiatrist with over two decades of experience in Mental Health and Psychiatry. Having completed his post-graduation from the esteemed K.E.M Hospital in Mumbai, he has served in numerous organisations and hospitals.
He is currently the Associate Professor at R.G.M.C and Shivaji Hospital Kalwa which sees an influx of over 200 patients each week belonging to the lower socioeconomic strata. His expertise lies in adult and liaison psychiatry. He is also a consultant Psychiatrist with Jupiter Hospital. As a dedicated consultant and Trustee with Institute of Psychological Health (IPH) he is involved with community programs i keeping with the motto of Mental Health for All.
He is the Co- Founder of Bodhi Awakening Foundation which was started with the vision of providing holistic care for not only individuals having mental distress and psychiatric illnesses but also emphasizes on mental hygiene for all.
He is associated with Jagruti Palak Sansthan and Jidh School for the intellectually challenged children. HIs firm belief while working with these children is that they require compassionate care through nurturing relationships rather than focusing on pharmacological intervention alone. He has been instrumental in setting up a child centric integration unit in these.
